Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.), active Audiolist license and 1+ years Audiologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity runs from late August through Thanksgiving break, covering a vital 12-week maternity leave. Your expertise will reach students across the district, directly influencing educational outcomes and helping build inclusive, accessible learning experiences.

Key Qualifications:

• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master’s Degree in Audiology
• Active Michigan Audiology License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) required
• Preferred: 3–5 years of experience working with pediatric or school-based populations

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive audiological assessments and perform educational evaluations for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
• Collaborate with clinical audiologists and ENT specialists to collect necessary medical documentation and ensure appropriate technology clearances
• Provide clear communication of evaluation outcomes to teachers, staff, and families, supporting educational planning and daily learning needs
• Offer guidance to families on medical recommendations, ensuring coordinated follow-up and continued support
• Consult with education teams and parents on the academic and social-emotional impact of hearing loss
• Participate with the Early On Team, occasionally conducting home visits for infants and toddlers with hearing challenges
