Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency room setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective treatment
• Perform and document neurological assessments using the NIHSS scale as required
• Respond to trauma cases and support trauma care protocols within the emergency department

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Some trauma experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience in a high-acuity or Level I/II trauma emergency department
