Summary Regional Manager Retail Execution leads a regional retail organization, overseeing multiple territories or districts to deliver consistent execution, strong performance outcomes, and operational efficiency. This role is responsible for managing managers and/or large teams, optimizing retail coverage models, and ensuring client KPIs are met across a broader geography. In addition to execution oversight, this role owns talent development, financial performance (budget/P&L), and client relationship management, while driving implementation of company strategy and identifying growth opportunities within assigned accounts. Responsibilities Operational leadership: Oversees retail execution across a region, ensuring consistent delivery of client KPIs Optimizes routing, coverage models, and execution efficiency People and organizational development: Leads multi-layered teams; drives performance management, individual development plans, and succession planning Builds talent pipelines and integrates external hires into the organization Business and financial management: Manages budgets, operating income, and expense controls for assigned region Identifies and drives opportunities for organic growth and new business Client partnership management: Serves as primary contact for retail clients within region and ensures alignment to goals and expectations Strategic execution and change leadership: Implements national programs and strategic initiatives within region Leads change efforts to drive consistency and improved performance outcomes Qualifications Education Requirements: Bachelors preferred Experience Requirements: 6-8 years experience in relevant field Travel requirement: Up to 50% travel expected Supervisor Responsibility Direct Reports: Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources Indirect Reports: May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports Required Knowledge and Skills Deep understanding of retail execution models across multiple territories, including coverage models, routing efficiency, and labor allocation Knowledge of how to scale consistent execution across regions Strong knowledge of performance management processes including calibration, individual development plans, and succession planning Understanding of how to assess leadership capability and build multi-layered teams Knowledge of budgeting, expense management, and operating income drivers Understanding of P&L levers and how operational decisions impact financial outcomes Familiarity with managing ongoing client relationships, expectations, and KPIs Understanding of how retail execution ties to broader client business objectives Knowledge of retail KPIs, reporting tools, and performance dashboards Understanding of how to translate data into actions at a regional and team level Ability to lead through others and coach leaders on performance, accountability, and team management Ability to build high-performing teams across multiple layers Ability to ensure consistent execution standards across multiple territories Ability to identify systemic gaps and drive process improvements Ability to balance standardization with flexibility across varied retail environments Ability to translate company strategy into regional execution plans Ability to align team priorities with client and business objectives Ability to identify trends and adjust execution approaches proactively Ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and expense controls Ability to make trade‑off decisions to optimize cost versus performance Ability to connect operational execution to financial outcomes Ability to build and maintain relationships with client stakeholders Ability to manage expectations and communicate performance updates Ability to identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts Ability to analyze reporting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Ability to drive action plans based on insights Ability to use data to coach teams and course‑correct performance Ability to lead change initiatives across regions or teams Ability to communicate effectively across field teams, leaders, and clients Ability to drive adoption of new programs, tools, or processes Systems thinking and root cause analysis Ability to balance strategic priorities with day‑to‑day execution Ability to make sound decisions with incomplete information Ability to influence peers, clients, and cross‑functional partners Accountability for regional results and team performance Talent development and succession planning mindset Environmental & Physical Requirements Field Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed in a retail in-store environment, which may include working in variable temperatures such as refrigerated areas, freezer sections and deli/bakery areas. The position typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each workday performing the following activities: Engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use consumer goods products, prepare, and serve food and beverages safely as appropriate for the product demonstration.
