Position Details Title: BAS Controls Technician Location: Miami, Florida Hiring: Mid-level and Senior-level Technicians Compensation: $25.00 – $40.00/hour (DOE) Vehicle: Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (varies by region/role) Key Responsibilities Install, terminate, and calibrate BAS field devices, sensors, controllers, and control panels Perform point-to-point verification, diagnostics, and functional testing Support system integrations using BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks protocols Work closely with project managers and programmers to support commissioning activities Deliver professional on-site service and technical assistance to customers Document completed work, system updates, and testing results Ideal Candidate Experience as a BAS Technician, Controls Installer, or HVAC Controls Specialist Hands-on skills in DDC hardware, low-voltage wiring, and device commissioning Working knowledge of HVAC systems (AHUs, VAVs, RTUs, chillers, boilers) Familiarity with BAS protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks Strong troubleshooting abilities and effective communication skills Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally What’s Offered Hourly Pay: $25.00 – $40.00/hour (based on experience) Health Insurance (four plan options), Dental, and Vision starting after 30 days 401(k) with 100% match up to 3%, and 50% match on 4–5% Life insurance, disability coverage, and flexible spending accounts Paid vacation and holidays Company vehicle or vehicle allowance depending on assignment Career Growth Advancement into Senior Technician, Programming, Commissioning, or Project Leadership roles Opportunities to support enterprise-level BAS projects and high-profile clients Training and development aligned with long-term technical growth Client Sectors Commercial and Class A office properties Schools, universities, and municipalities Healthcare and mission-critical facilities If you are an experienced BAS Controls Technician looking for stability, competitive pay, and strong advancement potential in the Florida market, this opportunity is an excellent match.
