Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology Infusion RN for an outpatient infusion center position requiring Epic charting experience and current chemotherapy certification.

Details

• Work in the outpatient Infusion Center of a hospital-based oncology clinic
• Clinic operates 7 days a week
• Day shift schedule of 4x10-hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Uses Epic charting system
• May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals per unit needs

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact), OR license required for consideration
• Current BLS certification required (AHA Traditional, RQI not accepted)
• Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required
• BSN, OCN, and TCTCN certifications preferred
• Minimum 3 years of outpatient oncology experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Skilled in chemotherapy administration
• Must complete Relias exams with a score of 85% or higher
• Must provide detailed work history covering the last seven years, including city, state, dates of employment, and PTO
• Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required; charge RN references not accepted

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient oncology infusion setting, including chemotherapy administration
• Refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
• COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions accepted
• RTO must be submitted upfront and cannot exceed two weeks
• Former OHSU employees or previous travelers must be gone at least 6 months before returning, and must provide a reference from their prior OHSU manager
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no radius restriction
• First-time travelers not specified as accepted or excluded for this role
