Job Description
Structural Fitter $1,080+ WEEKLY Join Savard Personnel Group - where your skills are valued! Key requirements: Must have shipyard structural fitter/shipfitter experience. Must be able to pass a written shipfitter test. Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, naval blueprints, and work packages. Must have own basic hand tools. Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions. Experience with ship repair, new construction, and steel fabrication preferred. Fabricate, align, and install bulkheads, frames, decks, foundations, and other ship structural components. Measure, mark, and verify dimensions to ensure proper fit-up and alignment of steel components. Maintain a safe work environment by following shipyard safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Shifts: Monday-Friday 6am-4pm Duration: Temp-Hire
