Qualified candidates should possess the following:

• Active ARRT certification in Radiography
• Current license in the state or eligibility to obtain prior to start
• Minimum of one year of experience in Interventional Radiology or related imaging field
• Proficiency in operating IR equipment, digital imaging, and related software
• Understanding of sterile techniques and strong knowledge of radiation safety standards
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff
• Excellent communication skills and compassionate patient interaction
• BLS certification required; ACLS a plus

Key functions within this role include:

• Preparing patients for IR procedures and obtaining informed consent
• Operating advanced IR imaging technology and monitoring image quality
• Assisting radiologists and other physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Ensuring adherence to aseptic and sterile protocols throughout each procedure
• Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulations
• Monitoring patient well-being before, during, and after procedures
• Maintaining and troubleshooting diagnostic equipment
• Participating in ongoing quality assurance and improvement initiatives
