Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) located in en_US provides specialized nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and care. The RN will be responsible for performing nursing assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring positive patient outcomes throughout the assignment.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by following the nursing care plan and supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS Certification prior to first shift and ACLS Certification prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY). Education requirements involve a minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience, with at least one year of ICU experience preferred. No specific location or years of experience are mandated.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Performs a nursing assessment on all patients within eight hours of admission, develops individualized care plans, and initiates discharge planning from the day of admission. Participates in team activities to foster a positive work environment and ensures patient safety by adhering to safety policies and procedures.
