Senior Software Engineer (Test) Location: Fort Worth, TX or Palmdale, CA. Compensation: $120,000 - $160,000 + Bonus Eligible. Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required. Job Description Thompson Software Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Test) to support the development and validation of advanced software systems for a military aircraft platform. This role directly contributes to mission‑critical avionics and embedded capabilities that enable the performance, safety, and effectiveness of next‑generation military aviation systems. In this position you will use a wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the software field to develop, integrate, and test software products. You will work independently on projects and in collaboration with other software engineers, as well as program development and deployment teams. The role requires self‑motivation, strong work ethic, time‑management, and interpersonal skills. Selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Continued eligibility for access to classified information is required throughout employment.
