Stansell Dentistry-Brier Creek is a patient-focused dental office dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care in a friendly and professional environment. We're looking for an organized, personable Scheduling Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our patients and help keep our office running smoothly.

Job Summary:

The Scheduling Coordinator manages the front desk scheduling operations, ensuring the doctor's calendar runs efficiently while providing excellent customer service to patients in person and over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using dental practice management software.
• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries in a warm, professional manner.
• Manage recall/reminder systems to reduce cancellations and no-shows.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize the daily schedule and minimize gaps or overbooking.
• Greet patients upon arrival and manage check-in/check-out processes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update contact/insurance information as needed.
• Handle waitlists and fill last-minute cancellations when possible.
• Assist with general administrative and front-office tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in a dental, medical, or similar scheduling/front-office role preferred.
• Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of dental insurance and terminology preferred.
• Friendly, patient-first attitude.
