About the Position

We are seeking a Pediatric Surgeon for a part-time locum tenens opportunity to help fill a coverage gap in Ohio. This assignment is ideal for a provider seeking flexible inpatient coverage while working alongside a collaborative team with APP support.

Overview

EMR: Epic
Trauma Level I Center
Average inpatient census: 12
Average inpatient patients per day: 12
Pediatric patient population
15-minute new patient visits
15-minute follow-up visits
Admitting and rounding required
Work alongside residents/fellows
APP support available
APP supervision/collaboration required
Sole physician provider during assigned coverage

Requirements

Active Ohio state medical license
DEA required
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Surgery
Ability to respond to callback within 30 minutes
