Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle and high school students in a dynamic cross-categorical setting. This assignment spans from August 18, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and focuses on providing specialized instruction to students with a range of mild-to-moderate disabilities. Using the cross-categorical model, you will create inclusive learning experiences for learners with various needs—including those navigating learning disabilities, emotional behavior disorders, and autism spectrum disorder.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Wisconsin Cross-Categorical Special Education certification (License #2801)
• Demonstrated experience working with students on the autism spectrum
• Background in serving middle and/or high school populations
• Strong ability to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies for diverse learning styles
• Collaborative team player skilled at working with educators, families, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction in small group and inclusive classroom settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Foster a supportive, respectful, and structured classroom environment conducive to learning for all students
• Communicate regularly with families and team members regarding student progress
• Utilize data to inform instruction and modify interventions as needed
• Advocate for the needs and goals of each student within the school community
