This full-time position is primarily focused on providing telehealth support to children and adolescents facing mental health challenges. Work Environment\nThis role allows for a remote work setting, enabling our team to connect with patients from the convenience and safety of their own homes. Although you may primarily work from home, there will be opportunities to collaborate with our child psychiatry team through virtual meetings and consultations. The telehealth structure has been designed to ensure that our therapists have access to the tools, support, and resources necessary to foster meaningful therapeutic relationships and effectively address the psychological needs of children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to understand the unique needs and concerns of each child and adolescent. \n
- Formulate, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans that take into account developmental considerations and family dynamics. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to effectively manage various mental health issues. \n
- Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at equipping parents and guardians with skills and strategies to support their children’s mental health. \n
- Work closely with child psychiatrists, educational personnel, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. \n
- Respond to crises by offering immediate support and intervention when needed, maintaining a calm and resourceful demeanor in high-pressure situations. \n
- Educate both patients and their families about mental health challenges, therapeutic techniques, and available community resources. \n
- Keep meticulous and confidential records that comply with ethical standards and legal requirements. \n
- Participate actively in regular team meetings, sharing insights on cases and contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the practice. \n
- Stay abreast of the latest research and therapeutic practices in the field of child and adolescent mental health. \n
The primary focus of this position is on children and adolescents grappling with a variety of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and behavioral disorders. Working alongside a team of experienced child psychiatrists will allow you to deliver tailored support to each patient, addressing their unique circumstances while fostering a safe and caring atmosphere.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona. \n
- Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with therapeutic interventions. \n
- A strong foundation in individual and family therapy, along with effective communication and relationship-building skills. \n
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to document and track patient progress accurately. \n
- Ability to engage compassionately with children, adolescents, and their families, fostering trust and a collaborative therapeutic relationship. \n

- At least two years of clinical experience post-licensure in a mental health setting focused on children and adolescents. \n
- Previous work in a telehealth environment is strongly preferred, leveraging technology to enhance patient care. \n
- Experience in crisis intervention, particularly with young patients. \n
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a sign-on bonus as part of our commitment to bringing exceptional talent to our organization.
