Warehouse Supervisor

Warehouse Supervisor position available at United Salt Baytown, LLC. This role involves operational leadership, safety, quality, and compliance, service and issue resolution, equipment and facility readiness, team management, planning and coordination, inventory and materials control, continuous improvement, teamwork and collaboration, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day warehouse process and distribution operations, ordering and organizing warehouse and shipping supplies, maintaining records of incoming and outgoing supplies and materials, developing and maintaining safety expectations and safe work practices, and providing day-to-day supervision for approximately 30+ employees.

Qualifications include an associate's degree (or equivalent) from a two-year college or technical school, six months to one year related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior warehouse/inventory/distribution leadership experience preferred. Ability to read, write, and interpret procedures and records; communicate effectively one-on-one and before groups; basic mathematical skills; and experience supporting programs and services related to storekeeping, inventory control, and delivery/distribution.

Core skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); timekeeping/payroll and web-based systems; reading and applying safety rules, instructions, and technical manuals; writing routine reports and documentation; basic math and production reconciliation; problem-solving and judgment; basic administrative research and recordkeeping skills; and working knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
