Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence and driving strategic improvements within the plant.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all plant operations to ensure optimum production efficiency and quality standards.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to meet production goals and improve processes.
- Monitor KPIs and prepare reports on production performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and mentor a diverse team of production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize manufacturing processes and product development.
- Create effective schedules and plans to maximize productivity while minimizing costs.
- Define and implement maintenance strategies to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in line with Lean Manufacturing principles.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Proven experience in plant management or similar leadership roles in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficient in using manufacturing software and ERP systems.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years and a maximum of 30 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal manufacturing.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and forecasts effectively.
Salary & Benefits:
- Annual Salary: $90,000 - $120,000
