Position Overview

Kinetic Ease PT is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Chesapeake, Virginia. This full-time role requires a dedicated professional who is passionate about helping patients regain their mobility, enhance their physical performance, and achieve their rehabilitation goals. You will work directly with patients within our state-of-the-art facility, designing and implementing tailored treatment plans to maximize their recovery process.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our modern rehabilitation center in Chesapeake, VA. You will collaborate with a proactive team of professionals, including two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our facility is designed to facilitate optimal recovery with a range of therapeutic modalities and equipment available to support diverse rehabilitation needs. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs and rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities to enhance mobility and improve overall quality of life.
• Provide hands-on treatment for 2-3 patients per hour, focusing on maximizing their recovery through evidence-based practices.
• Educate patients on exercises, lifestyle modifications, and non-surgical options to manage their condition effectively.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) software (such as WebPT) to document patient care, track progress, and communicate information with the medical team.
• Inspire patients by promoting strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through proactive and supportive care strategies.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to synchronize treatment efforts and optimize patient outcomes.
• Regularly evaluate treatment results and make adjustments as needed to ensure patient satisfaction and improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and outcomes to contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily includes athletes and active individuals seeking physical therapy for orthopedic conditions and sports-related injuries. Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Valid State Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy.
• Experience with EMR Software, particularly WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
