Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Pay Rate: $167.70

What You ll Do

• Assist with complex cardiothoracic surgeries including CABG, valve repairs, and ascending aortic procedures.
• Provide support in emergent procedures such as dissections and redo sternotomies.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and the care team in the operating room.
• Participate in mechanical circulatory support procedures (Impella, ECMO, IABP).
• Assist with endoscopic vein harvesting, chest tube placements, and temporary pacing wires.
• Support a variety of adult cardiac cases daily, ensuring quality patient outcomes.

What You Need
Required:

• Board certification in relevant specialty
• Missouri license or willingness to obtain one
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of independent adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience

Preferred:

• RNFA certification
• Experience with a high-volume cardiac surgery program
