Academic Tutor and Mentor
City Year
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve full-time in public schools to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth. You will provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, reinforce classroom instruction, and track student progress using data and teacher feedback. You’ll model positive behavior, build strong relationships, and foster a safe, inclusive learning environment. Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll receive training, coaching, and leadership development while making a meaningful impact on students and school communities.
