Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to become part of our growing, collaborative practice that serves the coastal regions of Knox and Waldo Counties. This role is particularly suited for a general orthopedic surgeon with a keen interest in knee-related procedures , who appreciates a team-oriented atmosphere and a varied clinical setting.

Position Overview
  • Scope of Work: General Orthopedics with the potential to develop elective and procedural volume focused on knee care.

  • Practice Locations: Responsibilities will be shared between clinical settings and daytime operating rooms in Rockport and Belfast, ME.

  • Call Responsibilities: Weekend call rotation of 1:10 and weekday call rotation of 1:4, with coverage based in Rockport, ME.

Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree with Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.

  • Fellowship training is appreciated but not mandatory; preference for candidates with interest or experience in knee procedures.

  • Must be eligible for licensure in the State of Maine.

  • A strong dedication to patient-centered care, teamwork, and community involvement is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

We value the contributions of every team member within our organization. Total compensation packages may include recruitment bonuses, relocation support, productivity incentives, and quality bonuses, depending on eligibility.

The annual base salary for this position is set at $612,192.
