Job Title: Journeyman Electrician (Licensed)

Per diem is available only for employees whose primary residence is more than 70 miles from Hutto, TX.

Job Description:

We are seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to support commercial construction projects, including Skybox-related installations. In this role, you will install, maintain, and support electrical systems while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and project specifications. You will work closely with project leadership and other trades to ensure successful project completion.

Responsibilities:

• Install, pull, route, and terminate electrical wiring and cable according to project requirements.

• Measure, bend, and install conduit safely and accurately.

• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications.

• Perform commercial electrical installations in accordance with applicable codes and standards.

• Assist with the installation and support of low-voltage and electronic systems as required.

• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in the field.

• Work effectively under the direction of project leadership while maintaining a high level of workmanship.

• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and site safety requirements.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.

• Collaborate with team members to meet project schedules and quality expectations.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Texas Journeyman Electrician License.

• Experience in commercial electrical construction.

• Ability to pull wire, install conduit, and perform electrical installations independently.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.

• Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and industry standards.

• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented construction environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with low-voltage systems, electronics, or related installations is a plus.

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, as project needs require.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, lifting, bending, and moving materials throughout the day.

Work Environment:

This position is based on active commercial construction sites supporting Skybox-related projects. Employees work primarily outdoors and should be comfortable in varying weather conditions. Daily tasks involve installing electrical wiring, conduit, and related systems using standard electrical and construction tools. This is a hands-on role requiring physical activity throughout the workday.

Required License - Must possess a current Texas Journeyman Electrician License.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hutto, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
