Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver tailored mindfulness-based interventions, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients aiming for stress reduction, emotional balance, and enhanced resilience.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' individual stressors, mental health challenges, and specific goals, customizing mindfulness practices to meet their needs.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, including meditation and breathing techniques, to facilitate self-awareness, alleviate stress, and manage emotional health.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, stress management, and strategies for building resilience.
\n
• Integrate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions, addressing clients' unique mental health concerns and promoting their overall growth.

• Collaborate effectively with other therapists and healthcare providers to enhance the treatment plan and incorporate mindfulness practices into a comprehensive approach for each client.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and mindfulness interventions to support ongoing care.

• Participate in regular personal mindfulness practice and continuing education to deepen your proficiency in MBSR and stay updated with the latest methodologies in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Reliant, you will work with a diverse client population, including adults, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges. Many clients seek therapy to address issues such as anxiety, depression, stress management, grief, and interpersonal conflicts. Your role will be pivotal in helping these individuals achieve their goals through informed, evidence-based practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

• Strong communication skills capable of creating a calming and supportive therapeutic atmosphere conducive to open discussions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience and proficiency with mindfulness-based interventions, particularly Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), are highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
