Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid 4 Days Onsite) Duration: 9-Month Contract (Potential Extension) Start Date: May 18, 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Support execution of business programs and technology initiatives with moderate complexity
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable project plans
  • Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple workstreams
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and on-time delivery
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and status updates
  • Facilitate working sessions with technical teams to define timelines and execution plans
  • Proactively identify risks and escalate issues impacting delivery
  • Support enterprise-wide testing coordination, including tracking progress, defects, and remediation

  • Large-scale, multi-year enterprise wire transformation initiative
  • Impacts 4070+ applications and 100150+ integrated systems
  • High-visibility program with executive-level reporting cadence
  • Mission-critical delivery environment with significant business impact

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Manage 510 applications depending on complexity
  • Lead meetings and working sessions with technical teams
  • Track progress, risks, and deliverables; escalate proactively
  • Prepare executive dashboards and reporting materials
  • Drive cross-team coordination and execution

Required Skills

  • Strong project coordination or junior project management experience
  • Experience managing multiple technology initiatives concurrently
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organized with a strong focus on timelines and delivery

Tools & Technologies

  • Microsoft Excel (tracking & planning)
  • PowerPoint (executive reporting)
  • SharePoint (collaboration)
  • Word / OneNote (documentation)
  • Jira / Octane (nice to have)

Nice to Have

  • Payments or financial services domain experience
  • Knowledge of commercial wire processing systems (FedWire, SWIFT, CHIPS)
  • Familiarity with ISO 20022 messaging standards
