Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist license for the state, or eligibility to obtain.
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric clients preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to design and implement student-centered therapeutic programs.
- Collaborative spirit to work with educators, specialists, and families.
- Committed to maintaining timely documentation and progress reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ physical therapy needs in collaboration with educators and support teams.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each assigned student.
- Deliver direct therapy, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, goals, and outcomes.
- Consult and guide school staff and families on interventions and strategies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
