Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably for imaging procedures
• Administer contrast media as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Operate CT imaging equipment to produce accurate, diagnostic-quality images
• Review completed scans for quality and accuracy before submission for interpretation
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in the electronic medical record
• Follow ALARA principles and radiation safety guidelines
• Educate patients about CT procedures and answer questions to ensure a positive patient experience
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Perform routine equipment quality checks and report maintenance issues promptly
• Maintain compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and departmental policies

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Active Oregon Radiologic Technologist License (if required by state regulations)
• Current ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) required
• ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• Experience with contrast-enhanced CT procedures preferred
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, anatomy, and radiation safety
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic excellence
