Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 18 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid compact state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: - 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology - Capability to work weekends every other week - Willingness to participate in on-call duties Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology. The nurse will be responsible for managing patient care during interventional procedures. Ratios for patient assignments are 1:1. Candidates with first-time travel experience are welcome to apply. The role requires experience with procedural sedation and monitoring. Successful candidates will demonstrate skills in central venous access, chest tube placement, and various interventional radiology procedures. The position involves working with adults and geriatric populations. Team collaboration with interdisciplinary support is essential. The nurse will assist with patient assessments and encourage optimal recovery post-procedure. Travelers may need to float between nearby facilities if necessary. Commitment to working a minimum of three holidays is required. Candidates should be able to accommodate scheduling requests made during submission.
