Pick and Packing Associate

Location: Northridge Park Dr., Rural Hall, NC 27045
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Overtime: As requested by the customer

Shift Options

1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Overtime: 5:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $15.10 per hour

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Overtime: 3:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Pay Rate: $15.85 per hour

Breaks and Lunch

• Two 15-minute paid breaks
• 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Employees must punch in and out for lunch

Important Floor Rules

• No cellphones allowed on the floor
• Only water is allowed on the floor
• No food, drinks, juice, or other beverages are allowed in the work area

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Pick and Packing Associates for a 4–6 week temporary assignment supporting warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for picking, packing, labeling, scanning, sorting, and preparing products for shipment in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must be dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working overtime when requested.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Scan, label, sort, and stage products for shipment
• Inspect products for accuracy, damage, or quality concerns
• Prepare boxes, packaging materials, and finished orders
• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with loading, unloading, inventory, and general warehouse tasks as needed
• Forklift operators may move, stage, load, and unload product using warehouse equipment

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, production, picking, packing, or shipping experience preferred
• Forklift experience required for forklift positions
• Ability to commit to a 4–6 week assignment
• Ability to work assigned shift and overtime as needed
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs as needed
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks
• Ability to work around warehouse equipment and moving materials

Work Environment

• Warehouse / production setting
• Fast-paced environment with daily production goals
• PPE required as applicable
• Overtime may be required based on customer needs
