Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Cath Lab / IR Tech Unit: Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology Care Setting: Acute Care Hospital Shift: Days, 10-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) Call: Required (Weekdays & Every Other Weekend) Minimum Requirements ARRT (R) Fluoroscopy License BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience Scrub experience required Experience Cath Lab experience required IR experience preferred Prior travel experience preferred Experience in both diagnostic and interventional procedures Required Skills Scrubbing Cath Lab procedures Left & Right Heart Catheterizations Diagnostic and Interventional Caths EP Studies Pacemaker Insertions Defibrillator Procedures Hemodynamic monitoring Contrast administration Sterile technique and radiation safety IR Experience Preferred PICC Line Placement Central Line Placement Swan-Ganz Catheters Pleurovac Procedures General Interventional Radiology procedures Equipment & Systems Cerner Meditech GE MacLab Call Requirements Evening call 1–2 times per week Call begins after scheduled shift 30-minute response time Every other weekend call Weekend call is 24-hour coverage (6:30 AM – 6:30 AM) Unit Details 3 Cath/IR Suites Average 8–10 cases per day No floating required One shift of department orientation Holiday rotation: One major and one minor holiday Medlivo Job ID 1126060.
