Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing care to patients with a range of urgent health conditions.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, ECG strips, and other clinical data to assess patient status.
• Manage and administer IV drips, medications, and advanced cardiac support as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including RTs and pharmacy, to deliver comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation within EMR systems, including Paragon and Touchworks.
• Respond to emergency situations with swift, appropriate interventions.

Qualifications:

• Hold current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Demonstrate basic cardiology knowledge and ability to read ECG strips.
• Possess minimum experience in emergency or acute care settings.
• Exhibit excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Capable of floating to other units when needed with floor-specific orientation.
