Wellness Director

About the Director of Nursing Position As Director of Nursing at Brookdale, you will inspire, lead, and manage the overall operation of the clinical team to provide the highest quality of care and services for our residents. You will build relationships with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers to coordinate exceptional personalized care. You will collaborate with community leadership, mentor associates, and build resident and family satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day clinical services of the community to ensure residents’ healthcare needs are met. Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and that quality care is maintained as needs change. Supervise and provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to licensed nurses and other direct care staff. Determine HWD level for each community based on complexity criteria. Qualifications & Skills Education required to obtain a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN). Driver’s license. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; clinical leadership experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of technology; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and electronic documentation.
