This is a full-time position supporting students in Grades 1–3 within a Social/Emotional & Behavior program. The Special Education Teacher will provide individualized instruction, implement behavioral and academic strategies, manage IEPs, and collaborate with school staff and families to support student success. Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Provide specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs. Support students with social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs. Implement positive behavioral interventions and classroom management strategies. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation. Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, support staff, and families. Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment. Support students in achieving their academic, behavioral, social, and emotional goals. Qualifications: Valid Massachusetts Special Education License for Grades 1–3 required. Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field. Experience working with students with social/emotional and behavioral needs preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families. Strong organizational and documentation skills.
