Construction Superintendent

Location: Topeka, Kansas Salary: US$80,000 - US$100,000 per annum Construction Superintendent required to join a leading healthcare and senior‑living construction specialist operating across the United States. The successful candidate will coordinate daily on‑site activities, manage subcontractors, maintain safety compliance, and ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with contract documents. This role suits a hands‑on construction professional with experience in commercial, healthcare, senior‑living, or related environments, capable of reading blueprints, managing schedules, and overseeing multiple active job sites. Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and subcontract agreements to confirm work aligns with contract documents. Maintain detailed daily logs and prepare weekly progress reports. Lead subcontractor coordination meetings to keep schedules and deliverables on track. Create, update, and manage project schedules. Participate in job walks with the Project Manager, Owner, and Architect/Engineer teams. Support the Project Manager with budgets, contracts, document control, and overall project coordination. Communicate clearly with internal teams and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain project momentum. Identify and troubleshoot on‑site challenges using available resources. Maintain a safe and compliant jobsite in accordance with OSHA standards. Supervise and coordinate multiple active projects to ensure consistent quality and productivity Requirements Strong written communication skills for email updates, daily logs, and weekly reports. Ability to manage a fully digital, paperless jobsite using laptops, tablets, and cloud‑based systems. Proficiency with construction software including Bluebeam, MS Excel, and Procore.
