EMT Advanced

The EMT Advanced is responsible for the delivery of quality care for ill or injured patients under varied conditions in collaboration with departmental specific personnel. The Advanced EMT must be highly motivated and able to function using assessment skills and written standards when physician contact is not possible. Must also be able to participate in departmental committees, public relations, and outreach education.

Required Qualifications:

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate License or, Texas or New Mexico
• Upon hire: Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License, Texas or New Mexico
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
