Bookkeeper Opportunity

Our client, a respected boutique law firm in Commerce, is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their close-knit team. If You Have:

• Experience with QuickBooks
• A background in bookkeeping, finance, or accounting
• Experience in the legal industry (preferred, not required)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Strong spreadsheet and data organization skills
• Experience with project tracking tools
• A detail-oriented, organized, and consistent approach to work
• Comfort working independently as well as collaboratively within a small team

You Will Be:

• Managing accounts payable for the firm using QuickBooks
• Tracking income and expenses across multiple estate accounts
• Assisting with the liquidation of estate assets
• Coordinating with vendors and service providers on real estate holdings within estates
• Communicating directly with heirs and beneficiaries on estate matters
• Preparing annual reports for submission to area probate courts
• Handling daily mail and bank runs
• Maintaining office supplies and general office organization
• Sharing front-desk and phone coverage when the receptionist is unavailable
• Learning new systems and processes as the role and firm evolve
