The staff nurse delivers comprehensive nursing care to patients across all stages of life, employing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role operates within the established policies and procedures of the organization, showcasing professional development and accountability. The staff nurse is tasked with upholding practice standards and coordinating the patient care activities of all assigned personnel to ensure high-quality nursing services.

• Minimum Education Required: Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum Experience Required: New graduates from nursing programs are welcome to apply.
• Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law: A current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or a valid NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Additional Qualifications:
  • For PRN roles: At least one year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Advanced certification in a relevant specialty area, if applicable (refer to addendum).
  • Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
