Tax Manager Opportunity

A dynamic CPA firm in Southern California is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. This role is based outside of Del Mar and would be a mostly remote role for candidates anywhere in California. The role involves a variety of tax responsibilities, from preparation and review to strategic planning.

Salary: Up to 130K DOE

Responsibilities

Manage and review corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Lead tax engagements and oversee delivery from planning through completion
Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients
Research complex tax issues and communicate recommendations clearly
Serve as primary client contact for tax matters and relationship management
Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring quality and development
Stay current on tax law changes and advise on business impact
Collaborate with leadership to improve processes and client service

Qualifications

MUST reside in the state of California - this role is only open to remote within CA
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA or EA license required
4+ years of public accounting experience
