About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery/Antepartum Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** November 9, 2026**Location:** Corpus Christi, Texas**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** Full-time position requiring minimum of 2 weekend shifts per month; possibility of 4 weekend shifts monthly; no on-call required; shift patterns include day and night rotations**Highlights:**- 19-bed labor unit with dedicated OBED, PACU, surgical, and antepartum services within a comprehensive Women's Services department- Manageable patient ratios: 2:1 labor, 3:1 OBED, 4:1 antepartum, 1:1 OR- EMR systems include CPN and Meditech for comprehensive electronic documentation- Collaborative team environment with 55+ nursing staff members across all shifts- Diverse case mix including high-risk antepartum management, C-sections, and obstetric procedures- Floating limited to low-risk antepartum unit within the same specialty**Requirements:**- Active RN license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required- Labor and delivery experience with ability to manage labor patients- OBED experience with ability to circulate C-sections- Experience managing high-risk antepartum patients- Ability to provide care for COVID-positive obstetric patients across all service areas- Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred- Professional demeanor with strong teamwork and adaptability skills**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**Join a dedicated Women's Services team where you'll utilize your full scope of labor and delivery skills in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
