STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Agile Coach on behalf of our client in Reston, VA to lead Lean-Agile and SAFe transformation initiatives across multiple product and platform teams.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Agile Coach with a strong combination of technical expertise, Lean-Agile/SAFe coaching, training, and enterprise transformation experience . This is a leadership-level role supporting approximately 15 20 teams and working closely with engineering teams, Product Owners, RTEs, and organizational leadership.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record leading product, platform, and organizational Agile transformations and the ability to coach and train stakeholders at all levels, from Directors and senior leaders to engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Lean-Agile and SAFe transformation initiatives across multiple product and platform teams.
• Coach approximately 15 20 Agile teams and work effectively across teams, leadership, and organizational functions.
• Deliver and support SAFe training , including assessing training needs, preparing materials, coordinating schedules, and facilitating training sessions.
• Maintain an active SPC 6 (SAFe Practice Consultant 6) certification and apply SAFe practices effectively across the organization.
• Coach Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and work closely with Release Train Engineers (RTEs) .
• Prepare teams and RTEs for PI Planning , facilitate effective planning, and help teams identify dependencies, risks, and objectives.
• Drive Product and Platform Transformation initiatives using Lean-Agile principles.
• Apply Lean-Agile practices within product and platform organizations.
• Conduct and facilitate Value Stream Mapping to identify opportunities for improving flow and delivery.
• Manage and support transformation backlogs and work with Product Owners on priorities and execution.
• Coach and train stakeholders at all organizational levels, including Directors, leaders, Product Owners, and engineering teams.
• Partner with leadership to drive sustainable Agile adoption, organizational change, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Agile Coaching experience .
• 5+ years of SAFe coaching and training experience .
• Active SPC 6 (SAFe Practice Consultant 6) certification .
• Strong experience with Lean-Agile and SAFe frameworks .
• Proven experience coaching ARTs and RTEs .
• Strong hands-on PI Planning experience.
• Experience leading Product Transformation, Platform Transformation, and organizational/change transformation initiatives.
• Experience working within product-oriented organizations and teams .
• Strong technical understanding and ability to work effectively with highly technical engineering/product teams.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and train audiences ranging from senior leadership and Directors to engineers .
• Strong communication, facilitation, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise-scale Agile transformations.
• Experience with Value Stream Mapping and Lean flow optimization .
• Experience managing transformation backlogs and partnering with Product Owners on prioritization.
• Experience supporting multiple Agile teams within complex product or platform environments.
• Strong understanding of product development, engineering, and modern Agile delivery practices.
