React Developer

Apex Systems is looking for a Sr. React Developer for one of our largest retail clients.

Location: 100% Remote

Type: 6 months contract-to-perm OR long term contract

Description:

Exhibits technical leadership in software engineering
Plan, scope, size, architect, design, prototype, and engineer solution components
Hands-on engineering of difficult and complex sections of the application
Ownership of the full lifecycle of the platform: brainstorming, development, delivery
Produce detailed functional and technical software specification documents for scalable applications
Deliver solutions in a few weeks from concept to delivery
Rapidly embrace and implement new technologies
Take an automation first approach to streamline processes
Establish strategy for incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
System availability and uptime, capacity planning, maintenance scheduling, and disaster recovery

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field and/or 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development in lieu of a degree
Familiarity with common tech stacks
Strong proficiency in JavaScript
Thorough understanding of React.js
Experience with React.
