Leverage your aerospace and/or manufacturing industry experience with a global leader & supplier of composite repair equipment to the aviation and aerospace/defense industries. This exciting opportunity combines 2D product design, 3D modeling & product design, PDM Administration, and CAD standardization & automation. A role bridging the gap between creative product design & data management. The CAD Specialist serves as the primary technical expert for Product Modeling, Drawing Standardization, and Data Management. You'llfunction between advanced product engineering and production-ready manufacturing. An excellent opportunity to leverage your SolidWorks, AutoCAD automation, & PDM data architecture and standardization skills! You Bring: Demonstrated 3D modeling & product design. Able to execute top-down & build complex parametric product assemblies Ability to develop technical fabrications, revise designs & make alterations Demonstrated 2D product design. Able to create/update 2D designs, draft views, automate workflows, write, debug, & implement custom AutoLISP scripts Requires: AS in Drafting & Design, or 3 yrs. in a mech. parts/assemblies design/drafting role Knowledge of manufacturing materials, standards, & best practices Drafting Standards: ASME Y14.5, Y14.100, and Y14.41 Demonstrated experience with SolidWorks & AutoCAD, MS Office, & PDM administration Experience with 3-D printed part fabrication, ideal #J-18808-Ljbffr
