Role Purpose The Wheelchair Agent is responsible for assisting passengers with mobility needs throughout the airport terminal in a safe, courteous, and professional manner. This role provides wheelchair transportation and customer support to ensure passengers receive timely assistance from check-in through boarding, connections, arrival, and baggage claim. What You Will Be Doing Assist passengers requiring wheelchair or mobility assistance throughout the airport Transport passengers safely between ticket counters, security checkpoints, gates, baggage claim, and connecting flights Assist passengers with boarding and deplaning aircraft when required Provide excellent customer service and professional communication to passengers and families Assist elderly passengers, individuals with disabilities, and travelers requiring special assistance Handle wheelchairs and mobility equipment safely and properly Coordinate with gate agents, airline staff, and airport personnel to ensure timely passenger assistance Respond promptly to wheelchair service requests and maintain efficient passenger flow Assist with light baggage handling when necessary Follow all airport safety procedures, airline policies, and TSA regulations Report operational concerns, passenger incidents, or equipment issues to supervisors promptly Maintain professionalism, patience, and sensitivity while assisting passengers Perform other duties as requested Safety, Security, Wellbeing and Compliance: You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures. What We Are Looking For: High school diploma or GED Must be 18 years of age or older Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. Ability to remain patient, courteous, and professional at all times. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
