Aircraft Interior Technician - 1041

Position Overview Aircraft Interior Technician – Full Time, On‑Site – Las Vegas, NV, USA Responsibilities Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft interiors and related systems. Diagnose and repair damaged or worn interior components. Make minor modifications to panels, seats, carpets, cabinetry, upholstery, etc. Measure, cut, and fit materials such as leather, fabric, and composites for interior refurbishments. Assist in aircraft detailing and cleaning. Maintain and repair the shop facility, equipment, and tooling. Use basic computer skills to navigate electronic training materials, manuals, and maintenance databases. Ensure cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas. Work independently when required. Communicate effectively in English (speaking, writing, reading). Perform additional job‑related duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of experience working on private aviation interiors (preferred). Valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport (ideal but not required). Strong teamwork, self‑motivation, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Reliability: attend work on schedule, including overtime and weekend assignments; notify supervisor in advance if unable to work. Transport availability to arrive at work each day. Adherence to Federal Aviation Administration guidelines and company safety rules. Customer‑oriented work habits and willingness to assist with major modification work as needed. Physical Requirements Lift and carry at least 70 lbs. Routine walking, bending, squatting, or sitting. Work on elevated platforms up to 40 feet using fall protection gear. Engage in repetitive motions with arms and hands, emphasizing dexterity. Stand for long periods. Climb ladders and stairs in tight areas. Mental Requirements Understand and implement regulations and guidelines, including OSHA and Hazmat. Collaborate professionally with others. Plan and organize procedures and operations. Read reports and blueprints. Working Conditions Primary work in hangar or shop environments with extreme temperatures. Occasional outside work on the ramp. Varied work positions in and around aircraft. Equipment Used Personal hand tools and supplied power tools such as sanders, saws, and power drills. Sheet metal cutters, glue guns, metal benders. Tugs, power carts, and other engine‑powered equipment. Spray booth and related equipment. Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate ranging from $25.00 to $40.00, with potential for additional compensation from shift differentials, semi‑annual discretionary bonuses, 401(k) company match, and Health Savings Account contributions.
