US|Business Analyst Location: Tampa, Florida Role Overview This Business Analysis role focuses on elaborating details for backlog items, ensuring timely completion of all Jira board items, and maintaining the Jira board and backlog with the Scrum Master. The Business Analyst serves as a liaison between technology and business stakeholders, possessing an understanding of both user needs and system functionality. Key Responsibilities Translate user and business needs into product backlog items to achieve the “definition of ready”. Collaborate with the Product Owner and squad on backlog item refinement. Work with Business and AD teams to leverage IT resources for project deadlines. Partner with the Product Owner and stakeholders to incorporate feedback into the backlog. Participate in all daily and ongoing squad calls. Create documentation for stakeholders or provide information for others to create documentation when applicable. Analyze the end-to-end connectivity delivery chain to identify opportunities for automation or workflow simplification. Partner with product owners, engineers, and support teams to translate delivery-chain insights into backlog items that reduce cycle time. Communicate status, elevate roadblocks, and perform troubleshooting as needed. Required Qualifications Experience: 4+ years of IT experience with a familiarity with diverse technologies and platforms. Experience navigating ServiceNow, Power BI, and JIRA is required. Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Power BI, and JIRA. Familiarity with Agile techniques and tools such as Scrum and Kanban is necessary. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrates a keen customer focus. Possesses clear verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented with continuous proactivity and follow-through. Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced IT environment. Ability to decompose complex delivery workflows into discrete process steps. Knowledge of system functionality to engage in discussions with the squad. A proactive approach to gathering appropriate information.
