Job Summary:
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical care for a position located in Lewiston, ME. This role involves providing patient care on a busy medical-surgical unit, with a focus on surgical patients and telemetry. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting a diverse patient population, with a schedule primarily during night shifts.

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

• Shift Hours: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Number of Openings: 1
• Required Qualifications: BLS or BCLS certification; ACLS preferred; 2+ years of experience in telemetry and surgical nursing; proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation; experience with bariatric patient care preferred; valid nursing license applicable in the state of Maine
• Additional Notes: The unit has 37 beds, uses specialty beds including bariatric beds, wound vacs, and infusion devices. Candidates must demonstrate strong telemetry skills and experience managing medical diagnoses such as diabetes mellitus and pneumonia, trauma, general surgery, bariatrics, plastics, or urology.
• Float Requirements: Float rotation may be required to all inpatient units.
• Dress Code: Scrubs in navy blue.
