Position Summary Tetra Tech is seeking a Mechanical CAD Designer with industrial experience in the Mining sector. This position provides design and drafting services for mechanical system such as: piping systems; material handling systems; Crushing circuits and HVAC systems. Experience with Revit and Autocad is required. Essential Job Functions Operate CAD workstation, to support the preparation of designs for industrial sector projects in mining and material handling. Support preparation of mechanical and piping drawings that includes equipment, process piping and HVAC drawings. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Drafting/CADD, Mechanical Engineering, or other related field. Candidate must have 5 or more years of experience. Must be able to prepare plans, profiles, and detail drawings using AutoCAD. Experience in preparing and understanding P&ID and PFD diagrams required. Must have experience working in a consulting environment. Must have Excel knowledge for preparation of equipment schedules. Must be an independent thinker and be able to assume design assignments with minimal training.
