Travel Registered Nurse - Hospice - $2,328 per week (Hiring Immediately)

Certification Details BLS New Jersey RN License Job Details Performs patient assessments to determine appropriateness for hospice care and develops care plans for patients and families. Ensures appropriate utilization of services and maintains visit productivity standards. Completes discharge assessments and documentation within required timeframes. Uses age-appropriate teaching methods and evaluates teaching plans. Assumes responsibility for case management including developing, implementing, and evaluating plans of care. Demonstrates knowledge of hospice regulations, insurance reimbursement, pharmacology, and safe medication management. Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings every two weeks and communicates progress toward goals. Maintains a safe environment and follows infection control measures. Participates in performance improvement programs and provides orientation and mentorship to new employees. Assists with agency business growth and cross-trains to learn new skills. Job Requirements Must have two (2) years of experience as an RN in a home hospice environment. Preferred three (3) or more years of RN experience. Experience using an EMR, excellent critical thinking and communication skills. Must have a valid New Jersey RN License. Must have a valid New Jersey driver's license. BLS certification required. Schedule Information Shift: 8 AM to 4 PM (AM shift). Hours per day: 7 hours. Hours per week: 37.5 hours. Work 5 days per week. On call or weekends required: Yes, one weekend per month.
