The ideal candidate will be an influential mentor who can assess, stabilize, and optimize nursing departments while supporting and developing facility-level clinical leadership. - Serving as Interim Director of Nursing, with accountability for nursing operations, staffing, competencies, and clinical outcomes during vacancies or transitions
- Providing hands-on clinical leadership to nursing teams, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, policies, and evidence-based practice
- Supporting survey readiness and response, including corrective action planning, staff education, and on-site leadership during surveys
- Leading clinical operations stabilization, identifying risk areas and implementing immediate and sustainable improvements
- Partnering with Regional Nurses and Operations leaders to align center-level execution with organizational standards and priorities
- Supporting targeted clinical projects and initiatives that strengthen care delivery, quality outcomes, and consistency across centers
- Travel extensively to support facilities, including overnight stays and extended periods at assigned locations.
- RN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Current, active, and unencumbered RN license in the assigned state(s); state-specific licensing is not required for support roles where the individual is not acting as a facility DON.
- Minimum of five (5) years of management or supervisory experience in long-term care or acute care settings.
- Experience in restorative or geriatric nursing is preferred.
- Proven leadership and performance management experience with the ability to drive clinical excellence.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Ability to travel extensively , including overnight stays and extended assignments at multiple facilities.
- Must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare outcomes.
