Commercial Roofing Project Manager

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Base Salary: $100,000–$125,000 + Benefits

Position Overview

A well-established commercial roofing contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to join its growing Phoenix team.

This position will be responsible for managing multiple commercial roofing projects simultaneously , ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial roofing, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and experience managing projects from initial handoff through final completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial roofing projects from start to finish.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, job costs, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, general contractors, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments.
• Monitor project progress to ensure timelines, budgets, safety requirements, and quality standards are being met.
• Oversee material ordering, deliveries, equipment needs, and subcontractor coordination.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, project documentation, and scope changes.
• Conduct jobsite visits and maintain regular communication with field leadership.
• Identify potential project challenges and proactively develop solutions.
• Review project drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and contract requirements.
• Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the duration of each project.
• Assist with project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and final documentation.
• Provide leadership and support to project teams to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial roofing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems including TPO, PVC, EPDM, BUR, modified bitumen, coatings, and metal roofing .
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction scheduling, budgeting, and job costing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working directly with customers, contractors, field crews, and vendors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel locally to jobsites as needed.
