Overview
Registered Nurse, Med Surg — Travel assignment based in Cumming, Georgia. Start date 06/29/2026 for an estimated 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,522–$1,659 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 pm–7:00 am), 12x3 rotation. Setting: inpatient hospital unit providing acute-care Med/Surg oncology services. Note: No local candidates within 50 miles.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to adult Med/Surg oncology inpatients, including assessment, monitoring, and timely escalation of changes in condition.
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and monitor labs and treatment responses in accordance with protocols.
- Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments, document findings, and contribute to the development and adjustment of the plan of care.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, case managers, and other disciplines to coordinate care and discharge planning.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, promote infection control practices, and respond to clinical changes and emergencies as part of the care team.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and self-care after discharge.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Oncology inpatient experience
- Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), NIHSS, and ACLS required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am) on a 12x3 rotation
- Comfortable working in an inpatient hospital setting
- Travel assignment eligibility and willingness to relocate for the 13-week assignment
- Note: License requirements are determined by the hiring guidelines and must align with state regulations
