Job TitleJob Description Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.Please Note this position supports our 2nd Shift. You will be paid a 10% Pay Premium while working the 2nd Shift from 4:30PM to 3 AM -- 4/10 work week -- Working Monday to Thursday every Friday off.Our employees work on the world's most advanced electronics. Come build your career with BAE Systems.Skills Required:Knowledge of quality standards, inspection protocols, and defect criteria to maintain product compliance with specificationsTeamwork – collaborate with team to improve processes and resolve assembly issuesSoldering Techniques – SMT and through hole solderingContinuous Learning – participate in training sessions and identify opportunities for improvementAbility to operate AOI and X-Ray machines to inspect circuit boards or surface mount devices, capturing and analyzing images to detect defects such as shorts, opens or misalignmentsCapability to perform manual rework including cleaning shorts and correcting defectsRequired Education, Experience, & SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED2+ years of work experienceAbility to read and interpret work instructions and drawingsAbility to become solder certifiedEffective communication and team workComputer literacy, and familiarity with Microsoft suit of products (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong work ethic, and a desire to be part of a successful working teamA passion for learning/knowledgePreferred Education, Experience, & Skills3+ years of experience in electronic assemblyActive IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 CertificationsSolder Reflow experiencePay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $41844 - $66952 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
