Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT experience including Emergency Department and Level I trauma imaging.

Details

• CT Tech position supporting pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Supports CT imaging needs for Emergency Department and Level I trauma populations
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 6:00 PM to 8:30 AM
• Every weekend shift required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required within scope
• 13-week assignment with predetermined schedule
• Uses Philips CT scanner and Centricity RIS-IC charting system

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience required
• Emergency Department and Level I trauma experience required
• ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Experience with abdominal, pelvic, chest, head and neck CT imaging with and without contrast required
• Vascular chest CTA, brain perfusion, and vascular CTA experience required
• Cervical, lumbar, and thoracic spine imaging and musculoskeletal trauma experience required
• Contrast media preparation and administration experience required
• Radiation safety and peripheral IV insertion experience required
• Philips CT scanner equipment experience required

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging across abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, and spine with and without contrast
• Conduct special procedures including brain perfusion and vascular CTA studies
• Support trauma imaging including musculoskeletal trauma and trauma head studies
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Prepare and administer contrast media following radiation safety guidelines
• Charcoal grey scrub color required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted with local rate differential applying
• 50-mile radius rule applies for local rate differential
• All requested time off must be submitted prior to assignment start, as block scheduling cannot be accommodated
